Minerals Species: Pyrite on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Los Remedios Mine, Level 4, Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico.
Description: Iridescent metallic pyrite crystals to 1 mm partially coating lustrous translucent calcite crystals to 15 mm long with a later second generation of smaller calcite crystals to 4 mm. The iridescence of the pyrite varies from green to yellow to pink. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-15 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
