Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 48002:

Minerals Species: Sphalerite and Dolomite.
Location of mineral deposit: LaFarge Quarry, Lockport, Niagara County, New York.
Description: Transparent yellow-brown sphalerite crystals in spherical rosette-shaped aggregates to 4 mm across plus translucent rhombohedral colorless dolomite crystals to 2 mm on limestone. The sphalerite crystals look beautiful when viewed under magnification. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.
Price: $25 (plus shipping).
