Minerals Species: Sphalerite and Dolomite.
Location of mineral deposit: Penfield Quarry, Monroe County, New York.
Description: Transparent brown sphalerite crystals to 7 mm across with translucent rhombohedral colorless dolomite crystals to 5 mm on limestone. The sphalerite crystals are rare at this locality and look beautiful when viewed under magnification. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 25x25x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-7 mm.
Price: $32 (plus shipping).
