Minerals Species: Celestine on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Meckley Quarry, Mandata, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Description: Lustrous transparent blue-gray celestine (celestite) crystals to 12 mm long on pale-yellow scalenohedral calcite crystals to 4 mm. One crystal on the upper left is cleaved.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x1.5 xm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-12 mm.
Price: $22 (plus shipping).
