Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Santa Rosa Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Lustrous gemmy green elbaite tourmaline crystal with striated prism faces and three-sided pyramidal termination that has fine parallel crystallization patterns on the faces. Internally the elbaite crystal is nearly flawless, facet-grade. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x8x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 17 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
