Minerals Species: Pyromorphite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Wheatley Mine, Phoenixville, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Description: Translucent green pyromorphite crystals on limonite-stained milky quartz. The pyromorphite crystals are translucent hexagonal barrel-shaped crystals with textured crystal faces. Locality info see: Phoenixville Lead-Silver Mines in Min. Rec. v.20-#5. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5-1.5 mm.
