Minerals Species: Diamond (0.83 carat pale-yellow macle, twinned crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Finsch Mine, Free State (formerly Orange Free State), South Africa.
Description: Lustrous pale-yellow triangular Spinel-law twinned (macle) natural diamond crystal with convex, lens-like faces that internally reflect light giving excellent natural sparkle. A few subsurface gletz are visible in one corner under 20x magnification. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x6.3x3.0 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6.5 mm.
