Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 52155:

Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Songo Pond Quarry, Albany, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Translucent unterminated aquamarine crystal, the blue-green variety of beryl, with hexagonal form, smooth faces and excellent blue color. The crystal was extracted in two segments, then restored with glue. Note the drill intersected the rear edge. Acquired ca. 1998 from J. Brownstein.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x4.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 8 cm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
