Minerals Species: Quartz var. Amethyst (Scepter Formation).
Location of mineral deposit: Ras Koh Range, Baluchistan, Pakistan.
Description: Scepter formation of a larger amethyst crystal cap 25 mm long overgrown on a narrower stem of colorless quartz 32 mm long with minor white albite on the bottom where it was attached. The termination of the crystal is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x2x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 25-32 mm.
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
