Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 52632:

Minerals Species: Chrysocolla on Calcite with Chalcocite.
Location of mineral deposit: Chimney Rock Quarry, Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey.
Description: Dark metallic vein of chalcocite exposed along one edge of brown basalt with several convoluted cavities lines with bright blue-green botryoidal chrysocolla and scalenohedral chrysocolla-stained calcite crystals to 8 mm All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Robert Hauck collection, co-founder of the Sterling Hill Mining Museum. Collected ca. 1985.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x10x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 8 mm.
Price: $325 (plus shipping).
