Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky Quartz (Dauphine Law twin).
Location of mineral deposit: Crystal Park, Beaverhead County, Montana.
Description: Transparent medium smoky quartz crystals with slightly striated crystal faces that give the quartz a satin luster. Subtle luster patterns on the faces indicate the crystal is twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 46x9x8 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 46 mm.
Price: $10 (plus shipping).
