Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 53628:

Minerals Species: Fluorite and Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Elongated scalenohedral translucent yellow calcite crystals to 16 mm mixed with heavily etched translucent purple fluorite crystals to 2 mm that is fully crystallized on all surfaces with no attachment point. A few calcite crystals have cleaved tips.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-16 mm.
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
