Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky Quartz on Microcline.
Location of mineral deposit: Smoky Hawk Mine, Florissant, Teller County, Colorado.
Description: Ten elongated transparent smoky quartz crystals to 26 mm standing upright off white microcline crystals to 14 mm. The smoky quartz crystals have satin surface luster and exhibit rare {401, 041, 441} intermediate faces between prism and termination faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-26 mm.
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
