Minerals Species: Quartz (Japan-law twinned).
Location of mineral deposit: Castrovirreyna District, Huancavelica Department, Peru.
Description: Transparent quartz crystals to 30 mm with V-shaped formation of flattened quartz crystals that are twinned following the Japan Law of quartz twinning. All of the quartz crystals have etched surfaces giving a matte luster. One crystal edge has a small chip, but all crystal faces are clean and undamaged.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x7x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 8-30 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
