Minerals Species: Prehnite with Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Krimmler Achental, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria.
Description: Elongated plate of translucent yellow-green prehnite crystals to 3 mm with translucent colorless quartz crystals to 12 mm on the rear face. The prehnite has impurities that cause it to fluoresce green under UV illumination. No damage. Ex. John S. Albanese (1898-1969).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x3.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-12 mm.
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
