Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky-Amethyst Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Crystal Park, Beaverhead County, Montana.
Description: Lustrous transparent-to-translucent quartz crystals with color that is a smoky pale-amethystine purple. The quartz crystals have excellent luster and transparency for this classic locality. The termination of the crystal is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 12-50 mm.
Price: $48 (plus shipping).
