Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 55467:

Minerals Species: Prehnite pseudomorph after Anhydrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Fort Lee, Bergen County, New Jersey.
Description: Translucent green prehnite finger-shaped epimorph after anhydrite crystals to 25 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown by prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving a hollow center in the prehnite. No damage. Ex. Alfred (Fred) DeVito (1937-2004).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-6 mm.
Price: $55 (plus shipping).
