Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 60823:

Minerals Species: Carrollite (rare cluster of crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Kambove Mine, Katanga (Shaba) Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Description: Rare cluster of silver-metallic carrollite crystals with translucent yellow calcite on the bottom where the cluster was attached. The carrollite crystals are octahedral form with mottled faces and striated edges resulting from crystallization patterns. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x18x14 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-6 mm
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
