Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 60955:

Minerals Species: Malachite over Hematite pseudomorphs after Azurite.
Location of mineral deposit: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Fibrous green malachite over dark-metallic hematite pseudomorphs after azurite crystals to 22 mm. On the edges, where there the pseudomorphs are exposed, the pseudomorph's composition appears to be both malachite mixed with hematite. The crystals grew in a constricted cavity preventing complete crystal development. Most visible crystals are complete and undamaged.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-22 mm pseudos
Price: $195 (plus shipping).
