Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 62156:

Minerals Species: Diamond (2.19 carat pale-yellow macle, twinned crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Lustrous transparent pale-yellow natural diamond crystal with triangular shape caused by twinning on the {111} octahedral plane following the Spinel Law of twinning, known as a macle in the trade. The diamond crystal has a few minor flaws and inclusions. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x8.5x3.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 9 mm
