Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 63214:

Minerals Species: Cerussite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Bunker Hill Mine, Coeur d'Alene District, Shoshone County, Idaho.
Description: Rich cluster of lustrous translucent-to-transparent colorless cerussite crystals on gray galena-rich matrix. The cerussite crystals are repeatedly twinned at 60° angles. Cerussite specimens from Bunker Hill are not as common as pyromorphite specimens. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. E. Carmichael collection; ex. David M. Shannon (1942-2004).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-8 mm
