Minerals Species: Fluorite (twinned crystals with phantom-growth zones).
Location of mineral deposit: Skears Mine, High Stope, Firestone Level, Teesdale, County Durham, England.
Description: Lustrous transparent purple cubic fluorite crystals with translucent gray internal phantom-growth zones. Many of the fluorite crystals are interpenetrant-twinned. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout. Collected in March 2010.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-15 mm
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
