Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 63957:

Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Pedra Alta, Goiabeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Thin formation of interconnected transparent smoky quartz crystals fully crystallized on all faces. The smoky quartz crystal were probably splinters off a shattered crystal that healed and developed crystal faces on all sides. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Collected ca. 1985.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 20-40 mm
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
