Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 64329:

Minerals Species: Witherite.
Location of mineral deposit: Minerva #1 Mine, Bethel Level, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Transparent-to-translucent pale-gray witherite crystals on gray limestone. The witherite crystals are pseudo-hexagonal form and have a second generation of witherite on the outer prism faces that caused raised termination edges. Fluoresces under SW UV. Ex. Roy A. Smith (1935-2014) collection; originally acquired in December 1978; collected by Pearly Goolsby in the 1960s.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x6x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 12-37 mm
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
