Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 64801:

Minerals Species: Prehnite pseudomorph after Anhydrite with Laumontite.
Location of mineral deposit: Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Elongated translucent green prehnite pseudomorph after a 35 mm anhydrite crystal with prismatic white laumontite crystals on the surfaces. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown by prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving a hollow form. No damage. Collected by Kurt Hennig.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x1.5x1 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-3 mm
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
