Minerals Species: Elbaite var. Rubellite Tourmaline in Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Elongated transparent-to-translucent pink rubellite crystals, the pink gem variety of elbaite tourmaline, embedded in translucent white quartz. The rubellite crystals are exposed on both the front and rear of the specimen. Ex. D. Miller collection #M1815.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 12-40 mm
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
