Minerals Species: Copper (crystallized).
Location of mineral deposit: Itauz Mine, Karaganda Oblast', Kazakhstan.
Description: Sharp, well defined crystals of native copper (naturally occurring copper) in a formation of copper crystals growing off an S-shaped central crystal. The copper crystals have a reddish coating of microscopic cuprite with metallic copper visible in areas. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 38x11x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 40 mm
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
