Minerals Species: Diamond (0.66 carat cuttable pale-yellow macle, twinned crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Diavik Mine, East Island, Lac de Gras, Northwest Territories, Canada.
Description: Lustrous transparent pale-yellow (nearly colorless) natural diamond crystal with triangular shape caused by twinning on the {111} octahedral plane following the Spinel Law of twinning. The diamond has convex faces giving bright natural sparkle. No damage.
