Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 68583:

Minerals Species: Azurite and Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite.
Location of mineral deposit: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Vivid-blue wedge-shaped azurite crystals to 17 mm with fibrous green malachite on the edges. The azurite crystals partially altered to malachite from the inside out, resulting in only a thin veneer of azurite on the outer surfaces that gives vivid color. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-17 mm
Price: $250 (plus shipping).
