Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 69200:

Minerals Species: Azurite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Tsumeb Mine, Easter Pocket, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Classic specimen of many intersecting lustrous blue azurite crystals with excellent blue color due to better-than-average translucency. The azurite crystals exhibit the rare Easter Pocket-habit of broad, flat blades (see Tsumeb II, pages 243-247). The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II), collected in April 1994.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 30x27x23 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-20 mm
