Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 69282:

Minerals Species: Pyrargyrite (two specimens exhibiting different crystal habits).
Location of mineral deposit: Grube Samson, St. Andreasberg, Niedersachsen, Germany.
Description: Two lustrous dark-red metallic pyrargyrite specimens exhibiting two distinct crystal habits: rhombohedron on the left, and scalenohedron on the right. The rhombohedral pyrargyrite crystals exhibit red translucency in ordinary illumination. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Ex. Humboldt University, 1870; ex. Georg Gebhard.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x3 cm domed displays.
Size of individual crystals: 3-9 mm
Price: $975 net (plus shipping).
