Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 69409:

Minerals Species: Thaumasite.
Location of mineral deposit: N'Chwaning Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Transparent crystal of pale-yellow thaumasite with no matrix attached. The thaumasite is hexagonal crystal form with flat basal pinacoid termination with secondary pyramidal edge faces. The internal transparency of this thaumasite crystal is exceptional. No damage. Ex. Luis Leite (1942-1999).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x2.5x2.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 9 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
