Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 70103:

Minerals Species: Zircon with Biotite in marble.
Location of mineral deposit: Managi, Dharipeche, Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
Description: Lustrous translucent red-black zircon crystal in white marble with black biotite mica scattered throughout. The zircon crystal shows only one face of the pyramidal form. Possibly more of the zircon could be exposed with careful excavation. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5.5x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 12 mm (exposed)
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
