Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 70140:

Minerals Species: Smithsonite.
Location of mineral deposit: Kamariza Mine, Lavrion (Laurium) Mining District, Attica Peninsula, Greece.
Description: Translucent gray-green smithsonite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 8 mm diameter covering one face of brown matrix. The smithsonite crystals have a waxy surface luster. No damage. Ex. W. Keller #5058, acquired in 1986 from T. Kazamiakis.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2 mm
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
