Minerals Species: Diamond (3.50 carat pale-gray octahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Vaal River Mining District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Lustrous transparent pale-gray octahedral natural diamond crystal with complex crystallization patterns on the faces. The diamond crystal interior has many internal flaws, but a few dark inclusions near one face that are not visible from other sides. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9.5x8x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 9.5 mm
