Minerals Species: Diamond (2.24 carat translucent black octahedral crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Lustrous black natural diamond crystal with a smaller diamond crystal on the corner in parallel orientation. The diamond crystals are octahedral form with dodecahedral edge faces and have triangular crystallized negative pitting on the surfaces.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 2.5-7.0 mm
