Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 70639:

Minerals Species: Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Concord Pond, Woodstock, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Elongated cluster of lustrous transparent-to-translucent colorless quartz crystals over an earlier generation of milky quartz. These quartz crystals were collected in a one-time find that is not easily accessible. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Collected ca. 1980.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-40 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
