Mineral Species: Bournonite (doubly terminated crystals). Location of mineral deposit: Yaogangxian Mine, Nanling Mountains, Hunan, China. Description: Many intersecting doubly terminated lustrous gray-metallic bournonite crystals with no matrix attached. The bournonite crystals have striated prism faces with complex terminations composed of smaller faces. One bournonite crystal has a hollow end. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity.
