Mineral Species: Chabazite var. Phacolite Twins.
Location of mineral deposit: Gads Hill, Tasmania, Australia.
Description: Lustrous colorless transparent chabazite crystals on brown earthy matrix. The chabazite crystals exhibit classic pseudo-dipyramidal phacolite habit caused by repeated twinning. No damage. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007), originally acquired in 1972.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 21x16x11 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-7 mm
Price: $15 (plus shipping).
