Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 75675:

Mineral Species: Pyrite with Chalcocite coating.
Location of origin: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Lustrous metallic pyrite crystals in contrasting white clay-rich matrix. The pyrite crystals have a thin gray-metallic coating of chalcocite. Many of the pyrite crystals exhibit natural post-crystallization fracturing. Collected in 2015. Analysis of coating performed from Ben Grguric at South Australian Museum.
Overall size: 7x5.5x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 14-27 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
