Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 79902:

Mineral Species: Schorl Tourmaline.
Location of origin: Bald Mountain road cut, 9200' elevation, north of Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado.
Description: Segment of a lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystal. The schorl crystal is not terminated but the prism faces have excellent luster. Collected by G. Burke ca. 1995.
Overall size: 3.5x2.5x1.5 cm.
Price: $15 (plus shipping).
