| Mineral Species: Liddicoatite Tourmaline Slice. Location of origin: Alakamisy Itenina, south of Antsirabé, Fianarantsoa, Haute Matsiatra, Madagascar. (Type Locality for Liddicoatite) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities. Description: Polished transparent liddicoatite tourmaline slice with black outer zone and distinct green-to-colorless center zones indicating this may be several liddicoatite crystals that grew into one crystal. One edge has a section of another green liddicoatite. No damage. Weight: 20.9 grams. Overall size: 63x62x3 mm. Size of individual crystals: 3 mm thick slice Price: $475 net (plus shipping).
