Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 80897:

Mineral Species: Quartz var. Smoky Quartz with Muscovite.
Location of origin: Berry Quarry, Poland, Androscoggin County, Maine.
Description: Lustrous transparent black smoky quartz crystals with muscovite mica on three of the prism faces. The smoky quartz crystals have striated prism faces composed of parallel alternating faces. The termination of the crystal is chipped. Ex. Miller #M285; collected in 2003 by Steve Welsh.
Overall size: 6x4x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 35-60 mm
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
