Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81069:

Mineral Species: Fluorite with minor Calcite.
Location of origin: Kharan District, Baluchistan, Pakistan.
Description: Large plate of transparent purplish-gray fluorite crystals to 32 mm with scattered overgrowth of translucent white calcite microcrystals. The fluorite crystals are cubic form, have satin-like surface luster, and fluoresce violet under LW UV illumination. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Ex. Miller #M3927.
Overall size: 16x12x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 32 mm
Price: $275 (plus shipping).
