Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81279:

Mineral Species: Ludlockite.
Location of origin: Mina Ojuela, Mapimí, Durango, Mexico.
Description: Chatoyant orange ludlockite crystals in parallel orientation covering a 20 mm area of the gray matrix. First though to be karibibite, recent testing (3x) at the University of Arizona determined they are ludlockite - a first for Mexico and Mina Ojuela. Ex. Marshall Sussman; new find in 2021.
Overall size: 6x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-6 mm
Price: $450 net (plus shipping).
