Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81378:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite on Mottramite.
Location of origin: Touissit Mine, 21 km SSE of Oujda, Jerada Province, Oriental, Morocco.
Description: Large complex vanadinite crystals to 11 mm, with sparkling black mottramite crystals to 1 mm between the vanadinite crystals, plus bladed yellow wulfenite on the bottom. These are commonly mislabeled as Endlichite, but they lack arsenic. Most crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few crystals are incomplete. Collected ca. 1975.
Overall size: 8.5x5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 11 mm
Price: $325 (plus shipping).
