| Mineral Species: Fluorite over Quartz. Location of origin: De'an Mine, Wushan, Jiangxi Province, China. Description: Large cluster of transparent vivid-purple fluorite crystals over white quartz. The fluorite crystals are octahedral form with satin luster caused by microscopic crystallization patterns on the crystal faces. Must see in person to appreciate. No damage. Fluorite fluoresce violet under LW UV illumination. Collected ca. 2005. Overall size: 10.5x9x4.5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 6-12 mm Price: $575 net (plus shipping). |
