| Mineral Species: Ferberite, Siderite, Fluorapatite, Pyrite. Location of origin: Panasqueira Mine, Barroca Grande, 21 km. west of Fundao, Castelo Branco, Portugal. Description: Large parallel lustrous black ferberite crystals to 70 mm(!) with translucent tan-colored siderite crystals to 6 mm and lustrous green-gray fluorapatite crystals to 9 mm with yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals covering one face of the ferberite. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Collected ca. 1990.
