| Mineral Species: Bournonite (cog-wheel twinned crystals) with
Boulangerite micros. Location of origin: Yaogangxian Mine, 32 km southeast of Chenzhou, Hunan, China. Description: Doubly terminated brilliantly lustrous silver-metallic bournonite crystals with dark metallic boulangerite(?) microcrystals, repeatedly cog-wheel twinned on the {110} plane with, dominated by pyramidal terminations composed of reflective parallel faces. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Bournonite, PbCuSbS3, is an uncommon lead-copper sulfosalt mineral. Weight: 73.9 grams.
