| Mineral Species: Dioptase and Chrysocolla with Quartz. Location of origin: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico. Description: Lustrous transparent greenish-blue dioptase crystals to 3 mm lying flat on pale-blue chrysocolla coating one face of matrix. Many lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 10 mm grew on the dioptase crystals. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Originally acquired from Marshall Sussman; collected in 2019. This mine is now closed. Overall size: 5.5x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: micro to 10 mm Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
